The main attraction of Vietri is represented neither by a monument nor by a historical building, but simply by ceramic objects. Vietri ceramics is present everywhere, the entire history of daily life of Vietri inhabitants is painted on ceramics, exported all over the world. Absolutely to visit in Vietri are the typical ceramic shops: each of these has its own laboratory, its own ideas and its colors. The ceramics of Vietri are an important part of the identity and of the local economy, but here, as well as in other places on the Amalfi Coast, one cannot help but taste a plate of anchovies or a plate of paccheri di gragnano with fresh catch of the day.
